Gases...

ALPGAZ; HABAŞ offers high quality and high purity instrument gases and process gases to the metallurgy, electronics, environment, petrochemical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Special gas mixtures are prepared in the Special Gases Filling Facility with the gravimetric method and in percent, per thousand and ppm mixture values in accordance with TS EN ISO 6142.

Analyzes of special gases are made with analyzers calibrated with internationally traceable gases.

Gas preparation  ve measurement sensitivities are given in the table below.

( * ) Not all special gases are included in the table. For your special gases not listed in the table, we kindly ask you to apply to the nearest Habaş service point.

(**) Purity
The quality measure of a gas is its purity. The purity of gases is usually expressed as “percent purity”. When purity is expressed as “percent purity” , the levels of impurities (impurity) in the gas are also specified.

Percent purity is expressed as a simple two-digit numeric system, . In this system, the number in the first digit indicates the number of 9's in percent purity, and the second digit indicates the number following the 9's, which is different from 9.

For example,  Nitrogen 4.5 ; There are four 9s in purity and the last digit is 5. In this case, it is 99995 and its percent purity is 99.995%. Similarly Oxygen 6.0 ; there are 6 9s in purity and the final digit is 0 with the percent purity being 99.9999%. The difference between percent purity and 100% purity gives the ratio of impurities.
